About Us
Hello everyone! We are Jonathan and Chantele Cross-Jones, husband and wife from Neath, South Wales. We’ve been together since we were 17 and were lucky enough to get married 15 years ago.
We run an established newborn and wedding photography company, Cross-Jones Photography, and Jon co-owns Siren Adventure Tours. We’ve bought our ‘first home’ together, have a crazy cocker spaniel called Opie, and an even crazier rescue sprocker called Bolt. We are parents to a 9 year old dude named Elian, our angel baby Ebben who was still born in June 2019, and our beautiful rainbow Effie who is now 5!
Jon: Can demolish a pack of custard creams in one sitting, has a rubbish memory, can’t multi task, and is a self confessed technology geek. Known by most of the family as Del Boy, he is often found searching Gumtree, Facebook and eBay for electrical items or cars to buy and sell for profit (or to keep is becoming a new trend!) Undiagnosed ADHD.
Chantele: Is a huge bookworm, lives in dresses and Docs, survives on cups of tea, is a serial volunteer and a total undomestic goddess, except for cooking! Usually found glued to her trusty Mac, writing, editing, reading or blogging – all while drinking copious amounts of tea and probably watching a film or TV series (she can multi task!).
Together: We have a keen interest in interior design, enjoy a good Netflix series binge, love nothing more than trying out new restaurants (currently in search of the best pub burger), exploring and traveling as a family and of course taking lots of photos!
Elian: Our quite and kooky dude. Obsessed with Lego and building everything, Minecraft, Pokemon and drawing. Recently discovered the joy of audiobooks and reading. enjoys a bit of cricket in the summer and loves attending Cubs.
Effie: Our super sassy little gymnast who spends half her time cartwheeling or hanging upside down, and the other half talking! She currently loves My Melody and Karomi, Rainbow High, Monster High, making jewellery and anything pink and sparkly!
Our aim with this blog is to bring together all our passions, ideas and adventures, under 1 roof, on our little corner of the internet. We hope you will enjoy reading our posts and finding out a little more about our life and home.
