Baby Led Weaning Banana, Honey and Chocolate Chip Muffin Recipe

Stick for baby led weaning breakfast ideas for your little one? Try out my super simple and soft banana, honey and chocolate chip muffins for something tasty and just a little sweet and naughty! They also make a great snack for big kids and adults!!

- 250 g Self Raising Flour
- 2 Medium Bananas
- 25 g Dark Brown Sugar
- 50 g Butter melted
- 2 Medium Eggs
- 4 tbsp Clear Honey
- 5 tbsp Milk
- 50 g Milk Chocolate Chips plus a few to top each muffin
Pre heat your oven to 180C (350F, Gas Mark 4) and place 12 muffin cases in your muffin tin
Mash the banana and add the flour, sugar and butter, mix it together.
In a jug or bowl beat together the honey, eggs and milk then add to the main mixture and mix well until completely combined
Add the chocolate chips and mix into the mixture
Divide the mixture between the muffin cases and top with 3/4 chocolate chips
Pop then in the oven for 15-20 mins until lightly golden
Remove from the oven, allow them to sit in the tin for a few minutes then remove to a wire rack to cool completely (if you can manage to wait! They are relish when still warm!)
