Ive never been much of a green fingered person, and I hadn’t ever kept house plants until I moved into our new home in September, but I had always admired those who had beautiful blooms in their home. Our house mate when we were living in Cardiff had some beautiful huge Yukka type plants, which looked great in the window of our living room and just added a lovely bit of nature and life to our heavily electronic and cluttered house.
I know have 2 beautiful orchids and a (struggling) red peace lily but I hope to add more to our home over time, next I am thinking some air plants or cacti, before I attempt something a bit bigger. I wrote a post a few weeks ago on how to look after an orchid and it got me thinking more about bringing nature indoors. So I started nosing at green fingered inspiration on Pintrest. Here are some of my favourite real homes with beautiful and impressive house plants, something for me to aspire to.
