If you follow our instagram account you will know I am all about teething jewellery. Even though Elian isn’t officially teething yet (no sign of teeth buds) he loves nothing more than to chew on stuff, pretty much anything he can get in his mouth to be honest, and this has been going on for nearly 2 months. I’m pretty sure he will start teething soon but for now he is enjoying gum chewing everything and anything, especially my new Black and Beech Theo Necklace.
I have a number of different teething necklaces and bracelets now as I have been lucky enough to be gifted some and won one in a fellow bloggers competition. They have become an essential day to day item that I don’t leave the house without, even if I’m not carrying the little man he will often play with one in his pram to keep him entertained when we are out and about. Even if he isn’t actually chewing my necklace he plays and fiddles with the beads, especially when we are breastfeeding. So having something specifically designed for his grabby hands instead of pulling on my non baby jewellery or my hair when feeding is great.
When Stacey from Black and Beech got in touch and asked if I would like one of her stylish teething necklaces to test out I jumped at the chance to add another teething product to my wardrobe! I loved the minimal ‘scandal’ style of her jewellery and even better all the items are handmade in Wales! Yay! You know I’m a big fan of supporting local businesses. All necklaces are made using smooth black food grade silicon beads and untreated wood beads which are all safe for little mouths and hands.
I really love the Theo style necklace I was sent and have found the monochrome colours mean it goes with pretty much all outfits. Even when I am not feeling up to get dressed up and am simply wearing a plain jumper and jeans I can add a touch of style with my jewellery. I now have my eye on the Winifred Necklace!
Teething jewellery also makes a great gift for any new mum as it is something practical but different to what most people will buy them as a gift, people always get stuff for baby and not for mum. So treat your friends to a gift that will be perfect for both them and baby.
This looks great! Love the idea of giving a teething necklace as a gift… certainly something a bit different! x
