I’ve been in a bit of a slump on the old blogging front recently, getting overwhelmed with the busyness of life with a toddler, a baby on the way and multiple businesses to run, so I thought I would revive one of my old blogging features to help inspire myself to start reading and writing blog posts again.
I used to blog my 7 days, 7 things every week back when I first started blogging and loved being able to share the beautiful and the random stuff I came across. So I am bringing back a similar type of post called Link Love to share a few of my favourite links, reads and finds from the week. I probably won’t do it every week, but it will be an easy post for me to put out when I am feeling a little less inspired or stressed with the fun of parenthood!
First here is what you might have missed on our blog. I blogged a little Spring Time Outfit Post for Elian with lots of cute photos as usual!
And here are some fun posts I’ve been reading and inspired by, plus a few items I am lusting after:
- Now most of you will know I am not very clued up on the make-up front, but with my sisters wedding just a week away I have been looking for a few basics. I found this post on the 10 most amazing primers on the Vogue website and it’s an entire education for me…who has never worn (or even owned) a primer before! hehe! Hopefully it’ll help some others too
- On the wedding front if your looking for pink bridesmaid dresses (or another colour) Style Aisle has lots of beautiful options at great prices!
- My friend and fellow blogger Kaye from Hello Archie, and her littles are always out exploring national trust properties and the attractions around where they live and it has inspired us to try get out and about more this summer too. Go check out her awesome adventures and photos
- I find so many amazing Mama made shops on Instagram, which stock the most adorable kids clothing, in amazing fabrics. My fav of the moment is Wilf and Wildlings! I’ve already ordered 2 pairs of leggings for little bug’s arrival.
- I’m swooning over the beauty and simplicity of this tiny home, it makes me want to live the simple life so bad.
- The Medela Big Breastfeeding Cafe is coming up again next month. If your breastfeeding or planning to with your upcoming arrival you can pop along for a chat, support and to meet other nursing mamas. Find your local one here, or find out how to host your own!
- I’ve just treated myself to this maternity/nursing dress and its so pretty and comfortable, plus a great price. I also have 2 others in this style!
- Me and Jon have been binge watching Z Nation, anyone else seen it? Zombie Apocalypse but a bit different to the usual ones you see, and quite light hearted in places.
So that’s all for my first Link Love post. What have you been loving this week? Link me up to your latest blog posts if you think I’ll enjoy them.
