Ive been searching for the perfect modern bedside table lamps since we moved in. I kinda knew the styles I liked, but I wasn’t managing to find any (at least not at a decent price) that were quite right. We have a fairly minimalist approach to our home, lots of white, grey and wood, its quite a clean look, so I knew we needed lamps that would fit with that look. Our bedroom colour scheme is grey, white and teal, but I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to find teal lamps that worked (unless I could get the right teal on a lamp shade). The other thing to consider was the fact that we really like industrial looking modern bedside table lamps, so things like mason jars, Edison bulbs, copper piping, vintage desk lamps and tripod bases.
The lamps above were inspiration when looking for my perfect modern bedside table lamps. I love the sleek designs, modern looks, yet they all still retained a little bit of an old industrial or vintage style.
- Bloomingville Copper Table Lamp – Next £229
- Minimalist Edison Table Lamp – UniquesTR via Etsy £56
- Wooden Tripod Lamp – The White Lighthouse £42
- Kilner Jam Jar Lamp – Not on the High Street £70
- Starkey Table Lamp – Made.com £45
So when I stumbled on these beauties in Home Sense for just £25 each I knew they would be perfect. I love the industrial desk lamp look, with the long metal bulb cover. The grey colour is a perfect to match with our bedroom, but it retains the modern and sleek look with the smooth wooden plinth base. They are perfect and look great either side of our bed.
The lamp you got looks so cool – love the industrial feel of it.
I really like the Kilner jar lamp – it looks so unusual. 🙂
Aww thanks Lauren! We love them too!
