Here with another instalment of ‘According to Bloggers’, if you’ve missed the last two then why not check them out after this post, you’ll find the links at the bottom. This time I asked the blogging community what they thought was the best mascara on the market, and boy did I get a lot of feedback on this one (I’ve even discovered a few I’ve never heard of!) and not just from the beauty bloggers, most women have their own opinion and their own favourite!
This post is packed with the blogging communities favourite mascaras and lots of posts and reviews from the lovely ladies who’ve helped me put this post together. I hope this helps you find your perfect mascara, or maybe introduce you to a new one! If you already have a favourite why not leave it in the comments below, or link me to your own blog review.
These are the best mascara’s on the market according to the blogging world, in no particular order! But firstly my favourite, and the ladies who agree with me.
- Benefit They’re Real Mascara – This is by far the best mascara I have ever had, and well worth the £20 (approx) it costs. Eleanor of Nora Nora and Ashleigh-Jayne from Writers Block and Broken Lenses agree with me, as does Rhian Westbury and you can see her Benefit They’re Real Mascara review here.
- Bella Eleganze 3D Fibre Lash Mascara – This is the favourite of Marian from The Colour Wheel, she absolutely loved it and you can see her before and after photos and her thoughts on her Bella Elegance fibre lash mascara review.
- Younique 3D Fibre Lash Mascara – Here is another version of the Fibre Lash Mascara this one is by Younique and is a favourite with Rebecca of All About U, her before and after images are impressive and you you will find her thoughts on her Younique 3D Fibre Lashes Review. (I’m tempted to try this product myself after seeing the end results!). Its also the number 1 mascara according to Chrissie of Manchester Chick Flick, you can see her review of it here
- Primark Volumising Ultra Black Mascara – Dovile from Dovile Fashion was surprised by how impressed she was with this mascara, but she loves it and will be trying out more of Primarks beauty range in the future. You can check out here Primark Volumising Mascara Review here.
- Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara – Is the best mascara ever according to Jess from Jaylas Jungle. For £6.99 it is well worth it after seeing the end results on her Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara Review, it thickens and lengthens and she has even stopped wearing falsies on her nights out as she no longer needs them!
- Le Volume De Chanel Mascara – Caroline from No More Frizzy Hair Days thinks this is the best mascara and you can read her thought on her Le Volume De Chanel Mascara Review
- Clinique High Impact Mascara – Natasha and Laura both think this is the best mascara on the market
- Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara – Jayne from Mum’s the Word says she has always loved this mascara
- Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara – Sarah from Friday is Forever says she has a few favourites but this is probably the best mascara of all, read her Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara Review to see why.
- Yves Saint Laurent Babydoll Mascara – Jade of Sindyydoll is in love with the YSL Babydoll Mascara and always finds herself returning to it.
- Georgio Armani Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara – Georgina from Makeup Pixi3 thinks this is the best highness Mascara although she thinks the best value for money is Maybelline The Falsies, but you can read her Georgio Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara Review here.
- YSL Shocking Mascara – Mia from CSI Beauty Blog has 3 favourites, but this one just takes the top spot – Yves Saint Laurent Shocking mascara Review
- The Eye of Horus Goddess Mascara – This is one I have never heard of before, so was a new introduction to me, Sarah from Life in a Break Down is a big fan of this one. If you haven’t heard of it either check out her The Eye of Horus Goddess Mascara Review
- Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara – Julie from Just Julie Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara Review
- Maybelline Turbo Boost Mascara – Steph of Love, Life, Laughs and Looks has this to say “Maybelline Turbo Boost mascara is amazing. Have used it for years now and won’t use any other. I am a makeup artist and have a case full of different mascaras but i always go back to that one because i love it. It doesnt go clumpy or run and is easy to take off unlike others“
- Smashbox Extreme Exposure – Lisa of Beauty and the Prince is giving her vote for best mascara to Smashbox Extreme Exposure Mascara, another that I wasn’t too familiar with.
And for something a little different Tracey of Face Up Beauty says she swears by Clarins Double Fix Mascara which helps waterproof any mascara and provide major staying power by coating it with a clear gel mascara. Check out her Clarins Double Fix Mascara Review for lots more info and opinions on the product!
So there you have a huge pile of options for the best mascara ever, with most votes going to my favourite Benefit They’re Real Mascara! What’s your opinion on the best mascara available? was yours mentioned above or do you think something else is the best mascara on the market, let me know in the comments.
