You know you sometimes have that friend who is ridiculously hard to buy gifts for, well I have one of them, she isn’t really ‘in’ to anything specific and now she is at an age where she kinda has everything she wants, or can just buy what she wants herself anyway. So buying a birthday gift can be really difficult, so I like to think outside the box and getting something a bit fun, but still useful and personal.
I’m not a fan of buying gift sets, or beauty products as I feel they are a little bit of a cop out really. Although Lush stuff is always welcome in my house, hehe! Luckily the internet has opened up the world of buying so you can literally find something for everyone!
Above are a few fun ideas which I found on Toxicfox. They have such a ridiculous range of items I am always surprised by what I find on there, plus they have a huge range of personalised items to make something really special. I have bought a few gifts from there over the years, so they are always a site I check out. I know my friend would love all these items
- Bitch is Sleeping Eye Mask
- Personalised Mug
- Personalised Chopping Board
- Hot Guys…Baby Animals Book
- Cat Selfies Book
But I eventually decided on this awesome Mojito candle for her (as well as a delicate bracelet I found in a local boutique), she loves a good Mojito and what women doesn’t like a candle. It smells amazing so I am really pleased with it and think she will love it.
Do you have any go to online shops for when your gift buying? With christmas coming I am starting to get my gifts in order (Im an organised shopping) so would love any tips for secret shopping places? I am also a big fan of Etsy for handmade items, as I love that I can support crafts people and local artists!
I have a friend like that! This has given me a few ideas! The Hot Guys…Baby Animals Book did make me chuckle x
I love these kind of posts because I swear present buying is becoming harder and harder these days! Everyone seems to have everything and if they don’t, they seem to just buy it themselves so it’s hard to think of original ideas! xx
