A few weekends ago I spent a relaxed 4 days with 6 other lovely ladies in this amazing holiday let, just outside Ledbury, to celebrate Sam’s 40th Birthday. Harvest House is a North American Style Log Cabin Lodge that was imported all the way from New Hampshire. It sleeps up to 8 people (in 3 bedrooms) and can be found via the Hoseasons website. Surrounded by organic fruit fields, the location and the views are beautiful! But we weren’t completely isolated as the awesome Deli-Cafe The Nest was at the top of the drive and the local pub, The Trumpet was 15 minutes walk away.
It was a relaxing 4 days that were definitely needed as I had been so busy for the 2 month before it that I was well in need of some down time. We decided not to plan anything major and just to chill for the entire weekend, so there was much eating of good food, drinking of cider and wine, chatting and laughing, watching trashy TV, and many many hours spent in the hot tub (plus quite a lot of reading on my part!).
Here are a few pictures of the amazing Harvest House in all its glory. The huge living room with full height vaulted ceiling was beautiful and the decor of the entire place was perfect for the look of the house. It was great for a girly holiday and I have no doubt it would be perfect for a large family holiday too. There was loads of space for everyone in the house and plenty of outdoor space for children to run about too, a perfect summer retreat. And here are a few snaps of my partners in crime for the weekend! Enjoying the hot tub and sitting outside gossiping late into the night! I can 100% say Sam enjoyed her girly 40th Birthday at Harvest House and so did the rest of us.Have you stayed in a Hoseasons Holiday Let before? Any you would recommend?
