Bump Watch – 22 Week Pregnancy Update and a Mini Half-Way There Maternity Shoot

Morning all! This isn’t really a proper pregnancy/bump update, I just thought I would share a few of my half-way there maternity photos with you all. As we are professional photographers by day we really wanted to make sure we captured my pregnancy properly with a little maternity shoot (we are very guilty of never taking photos of ourselves…always behind the camera, never in front!). We have done a few proper maternity photoshoots for clients, and we will be having some taken ourselves later in the pregnancy but we thought the half way point was a good opportunity to get a few lasting memories of me and my growing bump.

Also I have been meaning to start a Project Life album properly for so long, I bought everything last year but never made a start. If you have been following our instagram feed you may have seen my little shots of the start of our album though! Lets just say I made it my 2016 New Years resolution to properly scrapbook our life from now on, having bean on the way just made it that little bit more of a priority for me and so far I have been really good at keeping up with it. These pictures were a perfect way to capture and remember the half way point in my pregnancy.

So here are just a few of my favourite pictures from the mini session. We will no doubt be taking more at a later point as I love how these few turned out. 

Wearing my current fav maternity dress of all, and a total bargain at just £15! It’s by Happy Mama on Amazon, comes in lots of colours and is just really comfy and great for all occasions. i have worn it loads already, in the day and to shoots, totally worth the money (and I’ve just seen they have added it in red polka dot so may have to purchase that now too!)

And of course Opie wanted in on the action! Probably the best shot we have got of him in quite a few months, he’s usually just so excitable that he won’t stay still long enough to get a nice photo. You can see how much he has grown since we had him as a puppy just over a year ago.
