Ok so the plan had been to post this a week ago, the day after posting the results from last months aims…but it seems time ran away with me and I’m only now managing to finish this post. So the results from November are out…I did decently, so go check that out if you haven’t seen it. But for now here is my December aims. Family Life/Personal Aims for December 2020
Keep up the meal planning every week. This has been going well for a few months now and I hope it is a habit I will keep long term. It has helped to reduce our food bill and the amount of food we are wasting. Plus it makes tea times a lot easier if I already have the weeks meals planned out
Try out 3 new Pressure Cooker Recipes. I have had my Crockpot Pressure cooker for over a year now and really do love it. Its really easy to use and versatile but I have been sticking to a few easy makes so I would really like to try out a few new ones this month to expand my list of go tos. My Mild Butter Chicken Recipe is a firm favourite though!
Actually give myself some ‘me time’ and finish one of my books (im reading 2!), as I still didn’t manage this last month, in fact I only read about a dozen pages all month!!
As its December, Elian is now off school until January, but we cant actually go and do any of the festive things we would usually do, so I want to make sure we do some festive things at home, watching christmas movies, do some xmas crafts and spend time together playing games and having fun.
Blogging Aims for December 2020
I currently don’t have any blog posts on my ‘Must do’ list, sponsored or needed reviews, and tend to take it easy this month and dedicate myself to family time instead. I have 1 post I would like to finish and publish so will just aim for that post and count anything else as a bonus. Blogging work can appear easily during a month though so we shall see what happens
I recently switched over to a new recipe plug-in as my last was no longer working, so I need to go through all my recipes to update them and make sure they are formatted correctly, plus add new Pinterest images. I know I won’t get through all of them as I think I have 60 in total, but if I can just chip away at a few this month I will feel I have at least done something productive.
Financial Aims for December 2020
I will continue to track my finances using the I Save Money app. This will be my 4th month using it and I find it great to see where im spending and what I can cut back on
I will be trying to stick to my £400 grocery budget again, but know with it being December there is a slight chance I will splurge a little on some extra treats. But I am hoping as I stocked up on some meat and I already have some basics in I can keep the cost down and not go overboard
Hit my £200 side hustle goal to pay towards personal debt. As I have mentioned before a few months ago I started following The Dave Ramsey Method and am currently on Baby Step 2. So any extra money I can make above my general budget money is going straight towards that
Challenging myself to make at least £50 from surveys this month. Usually I aim for an average of £1 a day but I would like increase that a little and cash out £50 this month. This goes into my side hustle target above.
Do you have any plans or goals for December? Ive got a few less goals this month as it is December and I just want to spend time as a family mostly rather than worry about any goals
