My dad is a bit of a foodie who loves to try out new foods and adores cooking so I am always looking for great foodie items or kitchen gadgets to add to his presents for christmas time. I have found some brilliant sweet treats and great foodie gift ideas to share with you, some a little more unusual than others!

Tasty Treats for Foodies

How does an afternoon tea hamper sound? I think this is the perfect little gift for grandparents or a friend who deserves a little extra treat. Even if you don’t want to send a big box the individual items would be perfect for a stocking or as a little extra treat for someones Christmas gifts. We have had these for the past few years and me and Jon love settling down in the evening with those salted Caramel Truffles, they are beyond tasty!

 

Non Edible Gifts for Foodies

Here are a few foodie related gifts that are non edible! These are great as additional gifts with something food or cooking based, or perfect to pop in the stocking of a foodie fan.

How cute is this little Cactus Scrub Sponge! Washing up may be the most boring part of the cooking process so why not make it a little more fun…and a little bit cute, with a novelty scrubber that still does the job. These Cactus Scrub Sponges come in a pack of 2 and are scratch free so will be sure not to damage any of your cookware or glassware!

These Doggy oven gloves from Oven Paws are perfect for both foodies and dog lovers! And they come in a range of different dog breed (and cat breed) options, single gloves and double gloves like my Cocker Spaniel ones! The mitts are beautifully embroidered with detailed dog or cat pictures so make a real statement in your kitchen and will make a really precious gift to a loved one.

If you’re anything like me you tend to have lots of open bags of food on the go. Usually its things like pasta or flour, bags of the kids snacks, half eaten packs of crisps or popcorn, big bags of raisins or even packets of grated cheese in my fridge. Sometimes I close them with the little sticky labels they give you but often they lose the stickiness once they have been opened a few times, and actual clothes pegs are too long and often get knocked off when in my cupboard or my bag.
