I’m know I’m biased but you’ve got to agree my little dude really is super cute! Elian is growing fast and time is flying by, he’s 9 weeks old already, and my little chunky monkey! I can no longer call him a newborn as he is most definitely a little baby boy now! And one of my favourite things to do every morning is sort out his outfit (my own outfits are boring at the mo, so getting my fashion fix by dressing the boy!!)
If I’m honest when we first found out we were pregnant I found myself gravitating to all the cute and pretty little girl outfits as I (and Jon) was convinced I would have a girl. So at my 20 week scan when we found out our little bean was a boy I was a bit surprised, but it meant I could start looking at baby boy clothes which I hadn’t really been paying much attention too before. I was surprised to find that the baby boy clothes were just as cute as little girl clothes and the range of items is brilliant in most stores. Granted I’m really not a fan of baby blue items, which a lot of newborn baby boy items are, but I still found so many items I loved in monochrome, grey, navy blue and fun bold prints!!
Elian has been a super lucky boy and before he was even born he was gifted a great selection of Sense Organics organic baby clothes and muslins. I hadn’t heard of this brand before, which comes from Germany, but after checking out their website I fell in love with loads of their products, all of which are made from organic and fair-trade textiles. We especially like their 100% organic cotton baby basics range which includes some super cute printed bodysuits and some clever wrap body suits which are easy to take on and off baby. The fabric is so soft and they have washed really well so far, the prints haven’t faded or deteriorated at all, and the bodysuits fit Elian so well. Only down side is they are quiet thin fabric so wouldn’t be great if the weather was colder, but luckily it’s been really warm here so he has worn them lots either with jeans, shorts, dungarees or on their own for bed as they breath well (Elian is a sweaty baby!!)
The rubbish weather we have been having here in Neath has been keeping us indoors most days, so on the rare days we get good weather and a bit of sunshine we are straight out the door to go for a walk with Opie or simply enjoy the day (luckily the Olympics has at least been keeping us occupied the last 2 weeks!) This little outfit was worn on a walk around Neath Abbey Ruins last week. I adore the zebra print, its so cute without being childish (and its on sale at the moment!) His shorts are from Tesco and the sun hat was part of a set from Carter’s sent to Elian by my awesome penpal Alex!
