Babies need a lot of stuff! On a daily trip out you need to carry nappies, wipes, muslins, changes of clothes, bottles if your formula feeding, snacks if they are older, as well as your purse, keys, hair brush/makeup (if you can be bothered with that! lol!) as well as other random stuff…and sadly it will rarely all fit in your, probably stylish, pre-baby handbag!
When we had Elian I initially didn’t look for a baby bag as I naively thought it would all fit in the buggy bag that came with our pram…those things are tiny…seriously why do they bother, you cannot fit everything in those things, so you’re going to need an actual changing bag, or if your like me a backpack!
Honestly I found a baby changing backpack a way better option to a handbag style one as it was easier to pop it on my back when out an about and it didn’t continuously slide down my shoulder when I was bending down to run after or pick up Elian. Since we have been out of nappy phase Ive switched to a regular backpack over a specific changing one as I didn’t need all the organising compartments, but I still rarely have a normal handbag anymore!
Now the next problem is, no offence, most changing bags are just plain, boring and ugly. Even the more known baby changing bag brands are just very simple and not that stylish (actually I found ‘designer’ changing bags are even worse for just being plain!). Ok guys, so which is your favourite baby changing backpack? I really love this last floral changing bag, but the mint green of the Landici one is stunning, as is the rose coloured Babymel at the start, and Im a little in love with the stripped one too! So many to chose from!
