The Perfect Mothers Day Gift with Daisy Jewellery

March 19th people! Listen up! Incase you’ve been living under a rock and missed all the mothers day gifts, cards, balloons and other items in every store for the last few week, March 19th is Mothers Day. And I can honestly tell you, the lady in your life, whether that’s your own mother or the mother of your kids, she doesn’t want a cuddly bear holding a heart, a plant in a pot shaped like a swan, and you probably already have more than enough mugs. Am I right? How about you get her a real gift that is a bit more personal and will truly show her she is special.

For me, personally I love jewellery that has a meaning. It doesn’t need to be anything expensive, as long as it shows some real thought has gone into choosing it specially for them. There is nothing more special than wearing something sentimental, something you know was chosen or made specifically for you. It makes you feel good wearing it, it can make you feel closer to someone and it helps you remember something important. I wear a fingerprint pendant of each of my kids on a daily basis, I have jewellery with each of their initials and birthstones on, and I adore anything with stars and daisies!

Why you may ask? Well as most of you know stars are my symbol for Ebben, so anything that reminds me of him is set to be a big hit. But the daisies is a bit of a funnier story. Daisymay was the nickname I was given by a very good friends mother when I was a child, and it was a name that followed me through my childhood and for a number of years after. And it was all to do with the giant daisy hair clips (like the massive pompom ones!) my mum used to put on my bunches everyday for school. And I loved that nickname, it reminds me so much of a happy childhood and the fun I had. My first blog had Daisy in the name, as did my first email address. So I love anything with Daisies on!

When Daisy, the London Jewellery company offered to send me a special gift for mothers day, I jumped at the chance. (I mean they are literally called Daisy, haha, couldn’t have been more fitting!) I have seen their items a number of times on social media and adored their delicate styles. Keep reading to find out which items I chose.

Beautifully Packaged Mothers Day Gift

First of all I must say Daisy Jewellery arrives in beautiful cream boxes perfect for gifting to a loved one. There was a little clothe pouch included too, so you can keep your jewellery safe and stop it from tangling with other items. The boxes are great quality and look really special, so could easily be popped straight in a gift bag with a bit of tissue paper to be gifted.

Delicate Stacking Bracelets

I love the style of wearing a few finer stacked bracelets and Daisy has lots of beautiful options that are perfect for stacking together. I obviously opted for the Daisy Chain bracelet, in the 2-tone Sterling Silver (its also available in gold). And had the Isla Double Rope Bracelet to pair with it. I also know I have a number of other delicate silver bracelets I will be able to stack these 2 up with.

The Daisy Chain Bracelet is so beautiful and delicate. Its quite a short bracelet so it sits flat on my wrist, meaning all the daisies stay facing upright, which is perfect. Even though it is small and delicate there is still a huge amount of detail in the flowers and the quality of them is brilliant.

Honestly I am a little bit in love with them both. I can see them quickly becoming a firm favourite in my jewellery box and me wearing them on a daily basis.
