- Coat a large frying pan with fry light and heat on medium-high. Add your onions and garlic and fry until just starting to brown
- Add your spices, leek and beef mince, and fry for 5-6 minutes, mixing well to combine and stop the meat sticking to your pan.
- While your meat is browning, bring a saucepan of water to boil, add your rice and cook according to the packet instructions.
- To your meat mixture add your tinned tomatoes, worcestershire sauce and carrots, plus any salt and pepper you require. Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When the meat is cooked and the vegetables are tender add in your beans and cook for a further 2 minutes.
- Split into 4 portions and serve over rice.

If you don't like beef this recipe can easily be made with another meat mince, simply change out the beef for chicken, turkey, pork or lamb. Just make sure to check fat levels and associated sins
