Manscaping your facial hair

Something a bit different for you all today, today it’s a post for the gents! Jon has had a beard now for most of our relationship and I can’t imagine him without it, its become a fairly popular thing for guys to have now though too. So today I am handing over to lovely guest poster Wesley to talk to all the gents out there about why they should grown a beard! Wesley is the owner of iManscape. A site for men, beards, and manscaping. For more from him take a look at his website or like iManscape on Facebook.

Welcome gentleman! So, maybe you’re sitting reading this article with some scruff, a goatee, but mainly the thought of growing out a more formidable beard. I’ll tell you now that you most definitely should choose to grow your beard out.

I’m not going to tell you that it’s all easy sailing while you grow out your manly mane. There’s troubles along the path for most of us. Nothing super discouraging, but things worth noting. A lot of guys will struggle with the beard itch, patchiness, and the sneaky thoughts of shaving it off.

If you can get past the minor inconveniences that eventually fade away. You’ll be left with a great beard, great experience, and maybe even a different outlook on some things.
Here’s a couple reasons why you might want to grow out your beard.

A Fresh New Appearance

It’s healthy to change your appearance up from time to time. A beard is a great way to do that without spending a lot of money on clothes and other accessories. There’s also a wide variety of beard styles you can grow to fit your personality or look you’re going for.
Choosing a beard style may seem difficult, but there are a couple guidelines to help. Research different beard styled based on your face shape. Some styles go better with oval shaped or round shaped faces.

If this is somewhat of your first time growing your beard out. An all-around easy to go to and easy to maintain style is the short length full beard. It takes almost zero effort to get a normal full beard so, it’s a perfect place to start.

Woman Like It!

Of course, not every woman is going to love beards and facial hair, but there’s a large percentage out there that do. This might even be your niche opportunity, if you’re single, to get back out in the dating scene.

If you’re in the millennial generation studies have shown your age group get excited over a great beard! Just keep that in mind the next time you pick up your razor.

Hidden Health Benefits

You may be surprised to know there’s a healthy side to growing out your beard. Your beard will trap allergens and prevent them from entering your airway. Like how your nose hair does. That may sound like a strange bonus, but if you’re sensitive to allergies it’s a great plus.
You’ll also gain added protection from the sun which keeps your skin youthful and lowers your chances of skin cancer. I know that might not be a crazy thing to make you want to grow it out, but it’s a decent side benefit you’re getting.

Masculinity

A beard does many things for your looks. You’ll look way more masculine in appearance. A beard also make you look wiser. With beards becoming more accepted in the work place… who wouldn’t want to look wiser?

If you’re in a position where you need some level of authority a beard adds a lot to an authoritative appearance.

Who doesn’t want to appear more manly?

Winter is Coming

When it’s the fall and winter seasons, your beard is going to keep your face warm. Not to mention they pair great with winter clothing, hoodies, etc. What woman wouldn’t want a warm bearded man to hold during the cold winter?

Just remember that winter beards start just before Spring.

Conclusion

Hopefully you’ve decided to grow out your beard! It’ll be worth it. Just don’t forget that the earlier stages may be a slight struggle with beard itch, but once you’re pass that part it’s easy sailing.

Just think of all the money you’re going to save on razor blades in the future!
