Eek I kinda missed the official end of December, what with xmas and the New Year…first it was crazy busy, then we totally chilled out and took some time out just to have some family time. We didn’t even take any ‘proper’ photos of this two together this month, so I only have my good old phone photos! But we have been having lots of fun, time at home playing and of course trips to see santa and festive outings!
My November Sibling Project post is here is you want to check it out…its crazy how much Effie is changing and growing every month at the moment!
Sibling Project December 2021
The majority of our time off was spent having fun at home just us three as daddy was busy working very hard taking lots and lots of christmas photoshoots for people. This pair are playing so well together now, so I am wishing the christmas holidays were actually a week longer as I know Effie is going to miss him so much when he is back in school during the days. It is so lovely to see them playing together and he is so good at entertaining her and making her laugh. Playing horsey is a current favourite, he’s lucky she is still so dinky!
I may have purchased another set of matching winter hats for them…because clearly the rainbow set (you can see here) that we already have wasn’t enough. I do like them in matching bits and Im not sure how long I will be able to get away with with Elian being 6 this year, so I am making the most of it while I can, so they have a few xmas/winter bits.
And we took a few trips to the local soft play. Me and Effie already go every week with a friend of ours, but Elian usually misses out as he is in school, so he loved getting the chance to properly run around the place. Effie loves it there and with Elian in tow he can take her on some bits of it by himself, which he really likes.
There was a lot of edible ‘treats’ this month, mainly consisting of Burger King, reindeer ice creams and copious amounts of chocolate! Which obviously this pair really enjoyed. We usually have a BK treat as lunch if Jon is working a wedding on a Saturday, simply as its easier for me than cooking for the 3 of us and its nice and quick, especially if we have been out to the park or somewhere in the morning.
And of course we managed to fit in a few trips to see the big man during December. These 2 are the Santas from Founders Coffee and Co Craft Afternoon and Breakfast with Santa at Harvester. We really enjoyed both of the events, even if Effie is still very unsure about Santa himself…she just wants to chocolate selection box and she’s off thanks! haha! Elian on the other hand was very on the ball with his list of ‘4 things’ he wanted to make sure the ‘real Santa’ knew he wanted for Christmas.
