Aldi Baby and Toddler Event – What we got…

Aldi Baby and Toddler Event

I hadn’t really been to a Aldi Baby and Toddler Event in the past but had heard great things about them from friends so when I saw the advert for the next one I decided to check out what would be on offer and see whether it was worth an early start for me (8am is not a time that exists yet in my world, unless we are photographing a wedding, and I plan to keep it that way for as long as possible!) At the last event there had been Bambino Mio Solo Reusable Nappies that a few friends had recommended, but by the time I called into our store the day after the event started they had all sold out (luckily a friend picked my up 4) so I knew if there was anything with a good brand (or more miosolos) then they would sell out quickly.

Luckily Aldi list all the items that are going to be available at the event online so you can see what should be instore on the day the event opens and how much they are going to be (some items are also sold online, but again they sell out super fast!) So after a quick check I saw a few items I would like for bean and thought it was worth the 7:30am start. So enough rambling, here is what I got:

  • Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Bottles (4 pack) – £5.99
  • Nuby Pram Chime Toys – £2.89
  • Infrared Termometer – £8.99
  • Avente Dummies (2 pack) – Cant remember price
  • Hauck Dream and Play Travel Cot – £19.99
  • Hauck Baby Bouncer – £19.99
  • Mamia Swim Pants (in small and medium size) – Cant remember price
  • Baby Flannel and Hooded Towel Set – £2.99
  • Bodysuits and Sleepsuits (3 pack of each in grey) – £2.89 & £4.99

Aldi Baby and Toddler EventMy mum purchased the travel cot and the bouncer online before the event started and they were delivered (free delivery) the day after the event started. We are really surprised at how good quality the items are considering they were pretty cheap, perfect for her to keep at her house for when bean goes to visit.

I was really impressed by the items and the prices at the Aldi Baby and Toddler Event so will definitely be going to the next one if there are items we need/want. I’ll also be keeping an eye on their other upcoming Special Buy Events as you can get some really good deals.
