Beauty Week – Avena Oats Moisturising Hand and Body Cream

April 8, 2015December 10, 2016 Chantele Leave a comment

Avena Oats Moisturising Hand and Body CreamThis past few weeks I have been testing out this awesome smelling Avena Oats Moisturising Hand and Body Cream from Strella Skincare and Fragrance Boutique. I’m a big fan of hand creams although I rarely use body moisturisers (its just one of those things I forget to do) but I made a conscious effort to test this one out over a few days and I am very glad I did.

First of all I really love the way it smells, it doesn’t have an overly powerful scent, which is a plus point in my books, but the scent it does have is fresh and clean, slightly milky with just a hint of the oaty ingredients.

It isn’t a very thick butter type cream, it is more of a body lotion, so quite runny in consistency but this means a little actually goes quiet a long way. It takes a little while to get absorbed into your skin, but it doesn’t leave a greasy or sticky residue like some lotions do. Once it is absorbed though my skin felt lovely and soft and still smelt really creamy.

According to their website – ‘The moisturizer Avena provides the hydration, softness and elasticity that your skin needs daily. Avena is a nourishing cream, which is clinically proven to improve the health of dry skin as soon as you use it. You will see significant improvement with continued use for 2 weeks. Avena is made with natural Colloidal Oatmeal and it is rich in emollients, which moisten the skin and keeps it subtle and rich. Avena helps prevent and protect skin from dryness for 24 hours. With continued use, Avena cream will leave your skin feeling moist, soft, smooth and naturally healthy.’

Have you tried any of the other Avena Oat products? Are there any your would recommend?
