If you have read our last Bedroom Inspiration post, you will know that we are having a Grey and Turquoise colour scheme, with simple white walls. We want to keep it nice and light, but still quite chic and stylish. And after a bit of deliberating I decided I really wanted white bedding, even though I know it will show up lots of marks and be terrible to keep clean I want to at least try to have white bedding.
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Whilst looking for grey and turquoise bedroom inspiration I noticed so many of the rooms also had white bedding, and I loved the idea, but knew that it wasn’t the most practical thing to have, but I don’t care! I decided that I didn’t want plain white bedding though, as it tends to look a little clinical, or like a cheap hotel room. So I decided on textured white bedding as I think it adds such class to a room, and looks simply beautiful. Here is some of my inspiration:

The first option is a pin tuck texture bedding. When I first saw this style I totally fell in love, but then realised it west pretty hard to find in the UK, and when I did it was super expensive! Most of the US ones seem to be from West Elm (which until recently I thought was US only!) so I thought I wasn’t able to get my hands on it.
The next style I fell for was the seersucker (image 1&2), amazingly again this turned out to be from West Elm, although I also found some in Debenhams. I also love the subtle stripe in set 3 and it had been paired with pillows very similar to how I want them (I love ikat style so there will be a post on that soon too!) Lastly I found this mixture of white bedding, the pillows are an almost knitted texture and the bedding is like a quilted embroidery, it just looks so sumptuous.
Luckily for me, after weeks of looking online and in store, I scored a pintuck and a seersucker set, both from Debenhams in their sale for around £30 each (neither are available anymore). Now I just have to get grey fitted sheets and second pillow cases, but thats the easy bit as I’ve found the perfect colour set in Wilkinsons, a deep stone grey. Then its on to throw pillows, but I’ll keep that for another day[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]P.S. Don’t forget to enter our July Giveaway!

I always loved white bedding and still do but with so many pets in the house these days it is just not working for me… it was time to change to bold colours
I just think it is simple and stylish! Plus we only have house bunnies who will live in the living room! I will try have white bedding at least until we have kids, lol, then it may be another story!
The pin tuck effect is gorgeous. Really classy and elegant. I don’t think you can ever really beat white bedding but yes, it is unforgiving and ages more quickly than coloured and patterned.
Yep sadly that is true, Im gonna try it for a while and see how we deal with it, otherwise it will be grey and white bedding I think!
That looks lovely! I have an all white room, carpet, furniture and bed frame are all white with black accessories and bedding.
Oh sounds lush! I love black and white, but felt we needed something different in our new bedroom as I have done B&W for a while!
Looks fantastic! I love these colours, I find that there is something very relaxing in white bedsheets
White bedding is just so luxury looking I feel, hope it’ll work for us!
Don’t think I will ever be brave enough to have a white bedroom but I can dream after looking at these pictures.
We are hoping it will work for us, but it will be a trial!
Oh I love how the layered whites with a bit of texture are clean, yet interesting! What a great idea!
Yep I love that too, hoping white bedding and grey chunky knits for the pillows
How elegant. I love clutter free and airy bedrooms and all of these are just that.
I am hoping that this time jours can be nice and simple, living in rented homes up until means we have always been tight on space and what we could do.
