We have been to the Brew House on a number of occasions now, but had never gotten around to writing a Brew House Review for all you guys. The Brew House is a great live music venue right in the centre of Cardiff City, with a modern interior and instruments hanging from the ceiling its a pretty cool place. There is live music throughout the day 7 days a week, so you will often get lucky and hear one of the many great local musicians. On this occasion there was an acoustic duo on stage, and we just decided to have a light bite for our lunch.
She Said: We’ve had the regular pizza there on a few occasions so we thought we would try the Pizza Doughnut this time – its like a calzone but in a ring. It usually comes with Chorizo, feta, caramelised onion, mozzarella, and sprinkled with cheddar, but I can’t eat chorizo so we had it swapped for BBQ chicken, which was no problem for the staff as the pizzas are made fresh. And it was totally yummy. It was so well stuffed with filling and it was all really juicy and tasty. It didn’t look like a lot but was actually really filling. It came with a garlic dip too that was really garlicky, just how we like it. We ordered a portion of the curly fries too and they were lush, lightly spiced, nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
This is just a ‘she said’ review sorry as Jon has been so busy editing these last few weeks he hasn’t had time to write any posts recently, but I can promise he enjoyed this meal as much as I did. You can see what we’ve been up to recently over on our Cross-Jones Photography Site.
Pizza doughnut looks epic!
