Ah Easter! I think I can honestly say it’s my second favourite holiday (next to Christmas of course) and it isn’t actually all to do with the chocolate! Although I would never turn down the chocolate (what women turns down chocolate, lol!) I actually love all the other tasty treats that come around at easter time. For my easter treats this year I popped into Marks and Spencer’s to get my hands on some of their majorly yummy Hot Cross Buns – they are my favourite treat for Easter time!!
So me and Jon have got a little pile of mini luxury hot cross buns, milk chocolate easter egg hunt eggs and some tasty orange flavoured carrot shaped sweeties! Nom nom! And the best way to enjoy your hot cross buns (according to us) is lightly toasted under the grill and then slathered in welsh salted butter, OMG they are like a little bit of heaven. The slight salty butter melted in the bun with the sweet tasting raisins is just perfection. Luckily there are 9 mini hot cross buns in the pack so I can have a little treat a few times rather than just one big bun, spread out the tastiness! hehe!

And they have a great range for all the kids (or big kids) too, I mean who doesn’t want to eat Darth Vaders head! And I will be keeping my eye out on my next visit for those Hot Cross Bun Cookies too, Hot cross bun + biscuit = blinking awesome idea!!
