Bottle Feeding – Chicco NaturalFeeling Bottle Review

Chicco NaturalFeeling Bottle ReviewI am a firm believer that as long as babies are fed and healthy it really shouldn’t matter how they are being fed, be it breastfeeding, bottled breast milk or bottled baby formula, a healthy fed baby is really the most important thing. We combination feed so do a little of all the above, and it works for us (read all about it here)

The Chicco NaturalFeeling Bottle is different to others as they have an off centre nipple teat, which is meant to mimic real breasts more accurately than any other bottles currently on the market. The nipple is in the top 3rd of the teat section rather than the bottom like other off centre bottles, so it has a large area underneath the nipple to encourage a natural latch position.

Chicco NaturalFeeling Bottle ReviewAs we combination feed, Elian latches on both bottles and breast so I wanted a way to stop him getting teat confusion and struggling to latch on either the breast or a bottle at the start. Having a bottle that more accurately represented a real breast meant Elian was less likely to get confused between the 2 and could easily switch between them.

He latched on really easily to the Chicco NaturalFeeling bottle right from the beginning, and seemed to have no struggle sucking on them. The natural position for a baby to breast feed is with the mouth wide over a large section of the boob and using the bottom lip in combination with sucking to compress the breast to get the milk out. Thanks to the position of the nipple on the bottle the baby can latch in exactly the same way.

I would love to product these bottles, I have twin boys, 8months, they love their milk. I’ve tried a couple of brands of bottles but have not found the right one yet, Thankyou for the chance to review yours
