Dining Room Inspiration – Eames Chairs

When it comes to our dining room area, I knew what style of chair I wanted, even before I knew we were looking for a house or in fact whether I would actually have a dining room! Luckily the new house does have a dining room, so I get to have my Eames Chairs! And even more lucky, Jon actually likes them and agree’s to them too. I adore the Eiffel style Eames Chairs more than any of the others, after seeing it in so many houses on Apartment Therapy and Design Sponge, so know that is the ones we will be having. The only question what colour to chose?[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]White or black Eames chairs will always look stylish, and will pretty much match any decor style we decide to go with, but Jon already vetoed the black as we have black leather sofa’s in the living room (the downstairs of the house is technically one giant room as it is practically open plan) and thinks to much black furniture will drain the light and look to heavy, so the choice is between the white, or a coloured set. We have oak floors throughout and white walls, so any colour will technically go.

There are so many different colours of Eames Chairs available that you are sure to find one to match the colour scheme of your room. I like the teal blue, the red, the lime green and I have even seen a purple online somewhere, but I am not 100% sure on any of them at the moment. I still think we are leaning towards getting the white, as I hope that they will last us a long time, and will match the room no matter how we decide to change the decor in the future.

So the next question then will be what table to get? The only decision we have really made is that we want it to be round, as it will fit the space (10×10) better. These are some of the options we are liking at the moment.
