Easy Kids Crafts
One of the things me and Elian have really been enjoying whilst on lockdown is lots of easy kids crafts. We’ve even set ourselves some little challenges to keep us entertained and motivated, like trying to see how many toilet paper roll animals we can make! I’ll be blogging all our creations soon or you can see them in progress over on our Instagram. But first up we made this simple and cute egg box flower picture. Elian made them as Mothers Day gifts for each of his grandmothers (and one for me to keep!), but they would also be great as a kids easter craft, you could make them into birthday cards or simply as a pretty picture for the wall.
Pin this for later!

What you will need for this craft
- Egg Boxes (I used 1 6egg box and 1 12egg box to make the 4 pictures)
- Poster Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Green Card or paper (Or you can draw the stems on)
- PVA Glue
- Pompoms (or you could use sequins like these)
- Felt (or they could be made from paper)
How to make this easy kids craft!
- Cut the egg cup part out of the boxes and trim the tops so they are more or less level
- Get painting! Paint each of your egg cup flowers and leave them to dry
- Cut the green paper/card into strips to act as your stems, trim a few shorted so your flowers are at different levels when you stick them on
- Glue your stems onto your packing card, splayed like a bunch
- Put a good dab of glue on the bottom of your flowers and stick them on to each of your stems
- Put a good dab of glue in the centre of each and add your pompom (or sequin)
- Fashion a little bow out of your felt. I cut mine myself, 1 thick strip, 1 thin strip. Cut a V out of either end of your thin strip, then fold your thick strip so both ends meet in center and cut a semi circle into each side to give you a bow shape. Then just glue the 2 ends in centre of thick strip and fold the thin strip over and glue on an angle (that is the best way I can explain that!! lol!) or you can use a template like this, or cut a flat bow shape like this.
- Glue your bow into the intersection of your stems to make a bouquet!
- And you’re done!! Now proudly display on your wall or gift to someone to brighten their day!

If you seem to have a stash of egg boxes and your wondering what to do with them all, rather than just throwing them in the recycling, why not let the kids have some fun with them first. Here are a few more egg box crafts from some of my fellow bloggers
