SUMMER WORKSHEET PERFECT FOR THE BEACH

In this post I have created 3 different summer worksheets perfect for an afternoon at the beach.

First up you will find 2 fun I-Spy printables, where you can count each of the beach themed images and pop the number in the box at the bottom.

Then I have the super fun Beach Trip Scavenger Hunt. You’ll find 20 items which can commonly be seen at the beach. All you have to do is find each of them and cross them off. First one to get them all wins, or whoever managed to get the most.

BEACH TRIP I-SPY FREE PRINTABLES

On this exciting I Spy page, you’ll find a treasure trove of summer-themed pictures to discover:

Sunglasses
Ice Cream
Beach Ball
Beach Umbrella
Sun
Sandals

Each item is waiting to be counted and recorded in the little box at the bottom, right next to its matching picture. Or, if you prefer, the kids can enjoy the adventure verbally without any writing involved.

On this one you will find

Just like the one above you can count up all the pictures and pop the numbers in the corresponding box at the bottom. Or verbally count them with your toddler.

BEACH TRIP SCAVENGER HUNT SUMMER WORKSHEET

If you’re planning a trip to the beach with the kids this is the perfect little activity to keep them entertained. Below you will find a scavenger hunt activity sheet filled with 20 different items you will commonly find at the beach. Items range from sunglasses and a bucket and spade, to a crab and a kite.

This is a fun little game that kids can either play on their own or the whole family can play it, individually or as teams. This one is also great if you have a class trip to the beach, or a group trip (beavers, rainbows, guides, etc!). Some of the items may be super simple to spot, whereas a few of them may require a bit of hunting around. A brilliant way to have the kids burn off a bit of steam, and a score for screen free time! A win-win in the parenting goals!

Want them to last a little longer

Here’s a cool idea: you can laminate the pages or use wipe-clean plastic pockets, like these ones, along with dry wipe markers. That way, the kids can enjoy these pages over and over again without worry. A great idea if your planning lots of beach trips this year, or if you’re using them in a teaching setting, or with a group.
