Beauty Week – Forever Living Sonya Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

Forever Living Sonya Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

Here is another two of the Forever Living products I have been testing out from the awesome hamper I got to borrow from my friend and local rep Laura. She is a big fan of the Forever Living Sonya Volume Shampoo and Conditioner range so suggested I give it a whirl. This is a 50/50 review as I loved one product but sadly my hair hated the other.

Now the Forever Living Sonya Volume Shampoo is the 50% that I loved. The scent is great (you may noticed that the smell of a beauty product carries huge significance to me) although I can’t really pin point exactly what it smelt like, but it was nice! HeHe! The solution lathers up really well so you don’t have to use loads of it to wash your hair, even with the length of mine. It left my hair feeling great, although not that much extra volume (but I think that might be more to do with my hair itself, nothing gives it volume really!) It looked shiny and was nice light, without being static-y or flyaway. So big thumbs up for that.

Now on to the Forever Living Sonya Volume Conditioner. Since having my hair bleached and dyed on the bottom half I am having to use conditioner every time I wash it, or I end up spending 20 minutes brushing out all the tangles due to the fact my hair is quite thin. I usually use Tresemme conditioner as I have found this is the best for me at the moment, but I have used loads of others during the time I have had dyed hair. Again the smell is great and the solution covered my hair easily with just a little dollop, but sadly my hair simply hated it! Instead of a nice shiny mane my hair was lank and just very uninspiring. It got out all the knots like a conditioner should, but it clearly just didn’t work with my hair. It looked slightly greasy and certainly didn’t have any volume! This may just be my hair’s reaction to the conditioner but I was surprised considering the shampoo turned out so well.

So have you tried the Forever Living Sonya Volume Shampoo and Conditioner? What are your opinions?
