Beauty Week – The Balm Lipstick Review – Mia Moore

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The Balm LipstickSo I hope your enjoying beauty week so far, if you have missed any posts you will find the links right under this post. Today it is the turn of The Balm Lipstick in colour Mia Moore which costs £12! I also picked this up with my Superdrug gift card, which I was kindly given at the Superdrug Beauty Studio opening in Cardiff. This was actually the item I made a beeline for when I went shopping in the store, I just loved the vintage style packaging and, as most of you know, I love a good red lippy! [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Balm LipstickI was a little worried by the original swatch on my hand as it seemed a bit pinky, but when I put it on my lips it was actually a really great shade for me! I love it!! it is real pigmented so only needs a few swipes, and the staying power is pretty good, which I kind of expect from a £12 lippy. It is really smooth and moisture rich too, my lips didn’t feel like the were dry at all when wearing it. Plus it didn’t bleed! I don’t wear lip liner so sometimes have issues with it bleeding, but had none of this when I wore The Balm Lipstick.

I will definitely consider buying another if they expand the range and get more red tones in, at the moment this is the only one, and there pink tones weren’t my style. In Superdrug they currently only stock 6 shades, but I’m not sure if there are more in the full range from the company, may have to investigate a little further.

Have you tried any of the other The Balm lipstick range? Or any of the other items from The Balm? They are new to Cardiff, being exclusively stocked at the Superdrug Beauty Studio, but I think they will be quite popular!
