A flash back to the autumn with todays post. Through the summer Elian lives in Vans and Trainers but in the autumn and winter months I like him to have a good pair of boots. This year we were lucky enough to be gifted a great pair of Keen kids walking shoes and Elian has been wearing them daily since they arrived.
As this little man simply loves being outdoors, exploring nature and generally throwing himself headfirst into any adventure he can find (or leaf pile/puddle/muddy bank), having a pair of sturdy waterproof boots is a must for the colder months.
We tried to get out as much as possible last year, but have decided to actually make it our family goal for this year to get outdoors as much as possible. I think these shoes are going to be well worn by the time the year is over.
Elian is wearing:

Jon also got sent a pair of the Keen Mens Targhee walking shoes, so Elian loves that he and daddy have ‘matching’ shoes.
I am really impressed with the quality of both Elian’s and Jon’s shoes. Elian loves wearing his and has learned to undo them and taken them off by himself, which as a 2 year old is something he simply loves. Jon says his area really comfortable and feel very supportive on the soles of his feet.
