[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Welcome to the second day of beauty week here on Two Hearts One Roof, I am posting an entire week of beauty reviews after I had a bit of a spending spree at the new Superdrug Beauty Studio in Cardiff. Today its the turn of the Makeup Revolution Palette, or should I say palettes as I ended up buying a second one online a few days after I got the first. I picked up the Hot Smoked in store with the gift card I was kindly given by Superdrug, then I got the Day to Night Palette online later in the week. They are just £4 so are a bit of a bargain, here is what I think of them so far!
First impressions, the colour range in all of the Makeup Revolution palette are really good, they give you a pretty diverse collection in each palette, 12 different colours, and for £4 its seriously good value. Neither of the ones I bought are that highly pigmented so it takes a few layers to get a strong colour, but they go on pretty smoothly and are quite easy to blend together.
The palette pictured above is the Hot Smoked palette. The two palest shades are barely visible as they blend so well with my pale skin, but they will be good for a base layer. I really love the gold and shiny brown in the centre, as well as the mossy green and 2 purples at the end. I think those will be the colours I will most use.
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This is the Day to Night Makeup Revolution Palette (sorry for the dodgy shot of swatches, hubby miss judged and practically missed the bright blue on the end!) This selection of colours is slightly more muted compared to the set above, more suited to day wear. I think the 6 on the right are great for a brown smokey eye as they work together so well. But I love the deep blue at the other end, and the purple is actually the same one as the other palette, it is a black/purple and changes depending on how the light hits it.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Have you tried any of the Makeup Revolution Palettes yet? Great review, I got the really bright palette today, the one with all the super bright neon colors. I will be doing a review of it soon. x

Oh brave one to go for, will have to swing by and see the review!
I’ve started using the bright one today, some of the colours glow under a uv light x
Do they? Huh will have to check that out!
I haven’t tried any of the Revolution palettes yet but might give them a try in the future.

Definitely do if you get the chance, they really are great value for money!
