Just in case you don’t follow us on Twitter, Insta or Facebook (and you really should! The links are over on the right!) we just thought we should let you all know that our little bean finally made an appearance at 2:17am on the 19th of June, weighing 8lbs 6oz, just in time for Fathers Day! So this is to introduce you all to the newest member of the Two Hearts (I suppose we should call us Three Hearts now!) household…this is Elian!
I’ll write up his birth story at a later date when I have had time to process it all, but I will say my home water birth didn’t exactly go to plan and after a rather difficult 27 hours our little man made his entrance by emergency c-section instead. He is now a week old and we are both happily settling in at home and doing great. So while I rest, recover and spend some real quality time with our little dude I have some awesome guest bloggers taking over the blog for a week or 2 but I will be back to regular posting soon with lots of great baby/parenting related posts as well as our usual lifestyle posts.
