South Wales Bloggers Tea Party

October 29, 2014February 13, 2020 Chantele 8 comments

South Wales BloggerLast Sunday was the South Wales Blogger Tea Party, which I helped co-host with the awesome Laura and Gemma. It took place in Pettigrew Tea Rooms in Cardiff, and 22 other local blogging ladies turn up to enjoy some seriously good tea and tasty treats which Pettigrew had put on especially for us.

The enhanced tea was made especially for us and don’t currently feature on their menu, although they are considering on adding a number of the items very shortly (we were guinea pigs!) It consisted of a pot of tea each (our choice from their huge menu, I had Lavender Earl Grey!) or coffee or hot chocolate if you wished, then 1 of all the tasty treats on the cake stand each. There were mini profiteroles, scones with cream and jam, Bara Brith, savoury goats cheese millefeuille, cheese pin wheels and parma violet marshmallows. It was all really tasty and I was well filled afterwards.

South Wales BloggerIt was lovely to able to have a good chat to the ladies, and to meet a few new faces to the blogging world. Everyone seemed to enjoy them selves and by the chatter in the room there was lots of conversations going on.

And of course at the end of the event there were some goodie bags to give out. We were amazingly lucky to get some great sponsors for this event so here is a quick shout out and thank you to all those who got involved!

South Wales BloggerThank you

  • Fever London for the great Tote bags and discount cards
  • Argos for the amazing selection of electronics and Jewellery (I got that iPod shuffle so expect a techy review off Jon soon)
  • M&S for the Percy Pigs, Christmas Curd and rum soaked raisins!
  • Miss Patisserie for the lip balms
  • Crabtree and Evelyn for the nail polishes
  • St Kitts Herbery for the sample packs
  • Green People for the sample packs
  • By Kirsty for the acrylic and wooden tag decorations
  • Move Dance Wear for the bag, pan and trolly keys
  • Sticker Club for the stickers
  • Rio Coffee for the coffee
  • And of course Pettigrew for the amazing tea!!

Thank you to all the bloggers who came, and sorry we couldn’t have more of you there! Please keep your eyes peeled of other local events as there are a few more in the pipeline for next year!
