This is a sticky orange chicken recipe from Adam Warren a fitness and food blogger and it is super simple to make, bursting with a nice sweet and tangy flavour, high in protein, low in fat and low in salt, so an all round healthy and tasty meal.

How to make the Muscle Food Sticky Orange Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 400 g Chicken Breast Fillets
- 1 tbsp Rapeseed Oil
- 1 Red Onion chopped
- 1 Red Pepper chopped
- 3 Spring Onions Sliced
- Pack of Egg Noddles
- 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce
- 100 ml Orange Juice
- 2 tsp Plum Sauce
- 1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper
How to make sticky orange chicken

Spray a large non stick frying pan with low calorie cooking spray and place over a high heat, add you chicken fillets and cook for 12-15 minutes until cooked through

Once cooked set aside on a plate to rest, before cutting into strips

In a bowl mix together the Dark Soy, Orange Juice, Plum Sauce and Red Wine Vinegar to create your sauce

Spray more low calorie spray into your pan and place over a high heat, add you onion and peppers and cook for 5 minutes until softened

Return your chicken to the pan and add your sauce, mix well to coat and allow to cook for a few minutes until the sauce has reduced and thickened, spoon over your chicken as its cooking.

Cook your noodles according to the packet

Once your noodles are done and the sauce has thickened (10 minutes or so) top your noddles with the chicken and sauce and enjoy
