Today’s prompt from Hex Mum Blogs Blogtober challenge is HOLIDAYS, and although this is a great prompt with 100’s of topics you could write about I actually found it really hard, simply because it was so open!
I could tell you about our upcoming holiday to Venice next week. Me and Jon are off for a 4 day mini break, thanks to my parents, to celebrate our 30th birthdays. Its the longest we will have been away without the little man (we have done the odd night for work purposes) but we are so looking forward to discovering a new city and I’m not sure Venice is a very child friendly place anyway. I know very little about the city so need to get some research in this weekend so we can plan a little itinerary.
Or I could tell you about our favourite Holiday. Which I think would most defiantly have to be our honeymoon in China where we spent 28 days on a tour around some of the major cities and sites. Totally a once in a lifetime experience for us I think, sadly, although we would love to visit Asia again in the future.
Or I could give you lots of great travel tips for your upcoming holidays, but I’ve written a few of these already so go check them out:

But I eventually settled on this…my top 10 reasons why travelling is good for you. It’s good for your mind, body and soul. You will learn new things, see new things, taste new things, experience new things and feel great after doing it. Travel is so important to me and Jon we can’t wait to share it with our little dude once he is a little bigger!
Don’t forget to PIN this little graphic to use as inspiration for pushing yourself to travel more.

Totally agree – travel is really good for you mind, body and soul. I love travelling and exploring new places, especially with our kids. I bet China was an incredible experience! #blogtober17
China was epic!! It really is important to travel with kids I think, opens their minds to the world and I think it makes us understand other people and be more tolerant of the world
I love your list! I so need a holiday!! I need to de-stress. #Blogtober17
I think we all need a break now and again. I’m off on holiday tomorrow and can’t wait!!
Traveling is one of my favourite things to do. Not ideal when you have two kids but when they are older, it is going to be easier traveling. I still have lots on my list.
I want to try out a long haul flight with them too. #blogtober
It is definitely more complicated with kids. But our dude did great long haul. He was it 9 months though. Can’t imagine trying it now at 16 months!!
I travelled quite a lot pre-kids but haven’t had much of a chance since the boys were born. We’ve actually got two holidays booked at the moment though (the Lake District for half term, and France next summer) and I can’t wait! Hope you have a fab time in Venice 🙂 #Blogtober
It’s a bit more complicated (and expensive) with kids but we still want to try exploring places with him once he’s a bit bigger. Bluestone and disney next year for us!
