Cornerstone – A Better Shave (Plus A Giveaway)

July 19, 2017July 19, 2017 Chantele 58 comments
Cornerstone shaving kit subscription I’ve always been impressed with the cornerstone shaving kit. We’ve been lucky enough to work with Cornerstone over the last two years and I’ve notoriously had trouble with getting a good shave from wet shaving, that was until I got my hands on a Cornerstone shaving set. I have to admit, I don’t often use the face scrub of after shave balm, I have used them in the past for a review but when it comes to removing hair from my face, I honestly can’t be arsed. Thats not to say they aren’t great products, but the real gem for me is the shaving gel which makes the shave the best shave I’ve ever had.
 Cornerstone, Shaving Kit Subscription
The new razor and blades are re-designed to improve upon what was already a class leading shave (for me personally anyway). The blades have some serious tech which to quote Cornerstone themselves have “better spacing to avoid clogging and super heated to 1100c, shot with diamonds and coated in PTFE (teflon) for a better shave”.
As with the previous shaving handle, its a beautiful piece of metal, with my initials engraved for that personal touch. It has been re-designed for better grip but I hadn’t had trouble with the previous one, so a little improvement is welcomed. The shave itself is impressive, theres a trimming blade on the back of the razor that other brands have started using too which is useful for tidying around my beard edge. The hardest part for me is the hair either side of my adams apple. it grows in all sodding directions and makes shaving it a pain, added to that its where my skin is the most sensitive. The newly designed blades feel like they are giving a smoother shave with less effort and less skin irritation which again for me personally is a welcome improvement. The older blades started to clog up a little when using the gel, but the new blades aid it clearing and unclogging a bit more easy.

The final touch in the new kit is a blade cover, which doesn’t sound like much but its a nice touch and Chantele will love that my razors aren’t eating her poofs (shower sponges!) when we travel.
Overall I can’t recommend Cornerstone enough. We all like to look sharp and shaving can be one of those things that just gets in the way and becomes a chore. Cornerstone have developed their product to be better than the “leading brands” in what is a market known for household names such as Gillette and Wilkinson Sword.

So if you want to get your hands on one of these great shaving kits (personalised too!) just pop your details in the widget below! (Over 18, UK Only)

Sadly none,my husband has had to work away from home a lot recently staying in hotels in different cities in the same week so that last thing he wants to do is to go and stay in another hotel, but,I really don’t mind, that’s why I’d love to win this personalised Cornerstone shaving kit for him,he would love it and really deserves something lovely. We’ll have days here and there and it will just be so lovely to have two weeks together. We don’t live far from Edinburgh and the Festival is on in August so we’ll go there for a couple of shows ans watch all the street performers,if you’ve never been you should try to go,it’s really wonderful x

Just recently returned from a planned holiday to Scarborough. It was by bus and was a tour, so it was nice to visit a variety of places. We were very lucky with the weather, in that it was mostly sunny. Nice dry sunny weather is good for allowing us to get outdoors. Whitby was nice, quite a lot of shops, and we had a delicious fish supper whilst enjoying the summer sunshine.
