I am super excited to bring you all this little update announcement! I have been busy sorting and selling pins for the last few weeks, and for the duration of September so far I have been pushing the raffle tickets for our amazing Stars for Ebben Raffle (tickets still available until the 30th!!) and I finally got a chance to sit down and do some math!
So as of the 23.09.19 we have sold an amazing 403 pin badges and 410 raffle tickets!!!!! Our Just Giving page from the sponsorship of Kathryn and Natalie running the Swansea 10k on Sunday has reached £349 (It will remain open until the end of the month before I close it to cash out) and we received an amazing donation of £200 from the friends and family of my wonderful friend Holly at her wedding last week! I still have a few pin badge monies to collect, but at this moment in time we have already managed to raise an amazing……
£2103.69
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I honestly can’t thank every one of you enough right now. Thank you for every pin badge, raffle ticket, donation and all the words of support we have received. It has been overwhelming and humbling to know so many people are there to support and help us with this fundraising effort in honour of Ebben. And to know that we are reaching all over the UK (and 2 lots to the US and one to Aus!!) with our pins to help raise a little awareness of still birth and baby loss.
I intend to put in a reorder of pin badges very soon, so please do purchase one if you haven’t already, and we still have a tonne of amazing plans in the pipeline with some local businesses and upcoming events to keep the fundraising going. Don’t think I will be stopping any time soon!!
The money is all going straight into purchasing items for the bereaved parents suite at Singleton Hospital to help make other parents time there a little more comfortable. I can honestly say this experience has been the hardest animist painful thing Jon and myself have ever had to endure. And as much as we wish we could simply stop other parents from going through this we know that isn’t possible, so our aim is simply to try make it a little easier on them, and make their time in the hospital as comfortable as possible.
We have already started purchasing small items which will be added to the room, but there are a few larger purchases required that will make a big difference hopefully! I will be able to share what we have been buying with you all soon and hopefully update you with an even bigger amount raised!
Thank you
From myself and Jon and our angel baby Ebben!
