Opie was very excited to receive his first Barkbeats box in the mail recently! He is one spoilt doggy at the moment! Barkbeats is a monthly subscription box for the pooch in your life! Each month they will receive a selection of tasty treats, soft toys and chews, around 5-6 premium products suitable for their size. The box is between £13.50 and £14.90 (depending on subscription) and is delivered directly to your door once a month. Opie loved his box and can’t wait to get another one! So what was in Opie’s first Barkbeats box:
- Balloon Animal Soft Squeaky Toy – Opie loved his sausage dog but sadly he can be quite vicious with his soft toys and he managed to undo both ends with a day or so. I ended up with fluff all over my living room! It was the perfect size for him carry around though, as you can see in the bottom pictures
- Minty Fresh Rubber Bone – Opie had actually had one of these before and he loves it, its really good for him to gnaw on which he likes to do as he is still a pup at the moment. This one has lasted a lot longer than his first one which was destroyed within a week, he has had this one almost 3 weeks and its still in good nick.
- Alpha Spirit Natural Bone – This was the stand out item in this box, Opie went mad over this bone and spent most of the day gnawing on it or just carrying it around when we first gave it to him. He got the real ham bone, which didn’t smell great in all honesty but he was so happy I didn’t mind at all. It kept him entertained for a good few hours over that first week and he still has it now although most of the meaty bits have been chewed off.
- 3 in 1 Lamb Meat Dog Treats – These are treats for doggies with sensitive tummies, and as Opie is a pup he still has an up and down tummy! These treats are hypoallergenic, gluten free and packed full of Omega 3 and 6. Opie thought they were rather tasty and happy to sit and paw just to get one!
- Barks and Sparks Muffin – This was a pretty strange looking thing sealed in a plastic packet, and I wasn’t too sure if I was meant to give him the whole thing or not as it was a fair size. The muffin is home baked and made of fresh natural produce and Opie thought it was mighty tasty! I decided to cut it up and feed him 1/4 a day over 4 days, he would run away and bury the first segment I gave him then come back for another to eat.
Opie loved all of his Barkbeats box and I think it is a great idea to introduce dogs to new treats and toys, especially when you have a puppy and aren’t sure what they may like. I would defiantly considering order a box in the future as it was really fun seeing Opie play with his new toys and get excited about his new treats.
