Pawsomebox Review – Pet Subscription Box

July 19, 2015March 3, 2016 Chantele 2 comments

pawsomebox reviewAs a snail mail fan I love getting surprise parcels in the post. But this time the parcel wasn’t for me, it was a box full of goodies for Opie! And he loves mail now too, he’s been getting a few presents recently, so is becoming quite a spoilt little pup!

This time he received an awesome Pawsomebox chock full of treats and toys. Pawsomebox is a monthly subscription box especially for your pooch, costing between £15.90 and £19.90 a month.

Here’s Opie’s Pawsomebox review:Pawsomebox review

  • A squeaky soft toy doughnut with rope ‘arms’ – Opie loves anything that squeaks, and soft toys he can chew and tear apart. As he is still a puppy his teeth are pretty sharp and he is pretty vicious with his soft toys. He loved this one so much he had ripped an arm out within 30 minutes of having it, then proceeded to pull out stuffing, which he thinks is great fun. So suffice to say this one didn’t last long, but he did enjoy it. Maybe when he isn’t so destructive with his toys we can get him another one.
  • Woof & Brew Nom Tea Infused Biscuits – These sounded great to me! They are pretty big biscuits so you only get about a dozen in the pack. Opie wasn’t sure of them at first so just carried one over to the rug and sniffed it for a while, eventually decided it was edible and ate it, since he has enjoyed a few more and eaten them without the sniffing. So I think he likes them.
  • 8 in 1 Chicken and Carrot Treats – Opie loved these! They are similar to his Chicken and Rabbit Nibbles from Pets and Home that we have used as training treats since we had him, except a big bigger. He happily chewed it up quick and came back for another one.
  • Camon Hedgehog Ball – This was Opies favourite thing from the box, he has played with it for hours since it arrived. Its the perfect size for him, like a spiky baseball, so its big enough not to roll under our sofa which happens around 50 million times a day with his squeaky tennis ball and is perfect size for him to carry around even with the spikes. He can also chew on the spikes and its also super bouncy which he really enjoys as he can chase it.
  • Camon Ultra Absorbant Towel – We haven’t had a chance to try this out yet. When we take Opie for a walk we go the river and he gets soaking so requires a full size towel, so this just wouldn’t be big enough. But we will try it next time he just needs his paws drying off.
  • Lastly an Easy Tie from Happy Paws – To be honest this isn’t something we would actually use. It is intended to make clipping your dog to railings and posts easier for when you walk them to the shop or somewhere else. You just clip it around the lead handle and the object you want to attach them too, so you don’t have to unclip their lead to tie them on. I assume this is good if you have a dog who is harder to control if you undo their lead, luckily Opie is very well trained and we often walk him without a lead so he won’t actually run off anyway.

So there you have it, Opie’s first Pawsomebox review. He loved it and he is hoping to get another in the future!

Have you tried a Pawsomebox for your pooch? Or does he loved another subscription box maybe?

Check out our review of the Barkbeats Subscription Box too, Opie loved that as well!
