I’m not gonna try dress this post up as anything other than a reason for me to share these stunning images hubby captured at the Confetti Flower Fields (and I took a few of him and the kids too!). So this is an image heavy post, light on the text (as in its just these few paragraphs!) So just have a quick scroll through to see how totally stunning these fields really are, how perfect they are for family portrait photos and just how bloody cute my dude is. And you can bet we will be back again next year!
The Confetti Flower Fields run by The Real Flower Petal Confetti Co are only open for 2 weeks a year and for the last 4 years I have managed to miss the dates or been unable to get tickets….amazingly, thanks to Covid this year wasn’t booked up so far in advance and we actually managed to get tickets and made the 2 hour drive to Gloucestershire to spend a few hours taking photos in the fields. Sadly it was crazy bright and hot so Elian and Jon struggled a bit with the heat and we couldn’t stay out in it that long, but still managed to get some stunning photos I will always treasure, like the one above and my breast-feeding shot.
The fields are pretty big so it was easy to take photos without other people in them. The confetti flowers were laid in large long sections of each colour, there is a wildflower section one side, and new this year a big section with rows upon rows of beautiful sunflowers! See the sunflower photos towards to the end of the post. It was just so colourful and pretty!
