What I Wore – A Vintage Dress from Copenhagen!

November 12, 2014November 1, 2017 Chantele 2 comments

Vintage DressI picked this vintage dress up at Wasteland Vintage Clothing shop in Copenhagen when we were there on our mini break a few weeks ago. It is a re-worked 1970’s/80’s vintage dress and it fitted me perfectly. I loved the high collar and the little buttons that run up the front of the top half, and it even came with the original belt. The photos don’t really show it that well, but it is a black fabric with cream, beige and grey spots all over it. The shop I found it in had a huge selection of re-worked or up cycled vintage dresses which was amazing, the range of vintage fabrics was so eye catching, sadly most didn’t fit me (copenhagen ladies must have smaller chests, mine isn’t big but that was the biggest issue with all the ones I tried on, the buttons pulled across my chest area)

I love this dress, it is definitely fitting for a more mature “you”!

Aww thanks, I love the dress, just wish I could have bought a few more, sadly the Scandinavian body shape is quite different to the UK one and none of the others I liked fitted across my chest!!
