What I Wore – My Chinese Silk Jacket

November 27, 2014July 10, 2020 Chantele 2 comments

Silk JacketI went out to dinner with Jon, my Dad and Sis last week to a place in Swansea called Verve 37 (keep your eyes peeled for a review soon) so I thought it would be a good excuse for a little outfit posts. But as I didn’t think to take the pictures in the light before we went out, we had to make do with a few snaps inside, luckily the new house has some lovely white walls, perfect for outfit pictures. So here is what I wore.

Outfit Details:

  • Chinese Silk Jacket – from China
  • Black wrap over blouse – Zara
  • Skirt – Matalan
  • Pretty Polly Cable Knit Tights – c/o UKTights
  • Doughnut Necklace – Lucky Dip Club
  • Boots – Random Brand

This jacket was my big buy on our honeymoon to China 4 years ago. It is a handwoven 100% silk jacket that I bought at the silk factory after watching demonstrations on how they pull the silk thread from cocoons, process it, dye it and weave it, it was really interested to see.
